Ballet at Dance Arts Iowa
Ballet I begins with center barre work and then to center floor with technique appropriate for the age and skill level.
Ballet II & III work on coordination of the full body in turns, jumps, and leaps.
Ballet IV includes more difficult technique and Pre-Pointe and Pointe work if the dancers are determined to be ready by the teacher.
Ballet V continues to challenge with more difficult technique and performance.
NOTES: Students in Ballet IV and Ballet V are required to take both the technique and performance classes.
The DAI Ballet Teachers determine when a Ballet student is eligible to transfer to the next Ballet level.
